Greek Marinade with Lamb Chops

This is a simple marinade that delivers all those zesty Greek flavours that everyone loves.

Instructions:

Greek Marinade: Mix together oil, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Greek Lamb Chops: Fill FoodSaver® Containers with the marinade and lamb; turn the valve to the marinate setting, remove the liquid reservoir, connect the FoodSaver® Handheld Sealer and press the Marinate Button. Allow the sealer to run a 12-minute cycle to infuse lamb with marinade.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grate well. Remove lamb from marinade; discard marinade. Grill lamb chops for 3 to 5 minutes per side or until instant-read thermometer registers 57°C for medium. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Tips:

This classic Greek marinade is an all-purpose flavour maker. Grill, sauté, roast or broil chicken, pork, seafood, lamb and veggies after marinating.

Use marinade with cubed meat to make souvlaki; serve in warm pita bread with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, olives and feta cheese.
